Story angles
- A Vienna-born, decades-in-Neukölln cook who finally bottled the salsas he made for friends.
- Lucha-libre branding on authentic Oaxacan-style salsa: a story and a visual in one.
- La Quebradora, a fresh tomatillo salsa verde at 1-3/10, the mild one of a three-salsa tag team.

- Story
- I've been cooking my own chilli sauces for a good 30 years. For my friends. For my family. For myself. For decades my friends kept telling me: 'You have to sell your sauces!' I've finally brought myself to do it. Industrial bottling is out of the question for me, I cook every sauce by hand. Alongside my hot ones, my Salsa Verde came out of my first trip to Mexico many years ago, perfect for a Sunday plate of Chilaquiles Verdes. The sauces are named after lucha libre wrestling moves.
- Pairings
- Chilaquiles Verdes, the classic Mexican breakfast, with cheese, red onion and crema
- As a snack with taquitos or papitas
- With scrambled eggs, for enchiladas, or just on its own. Para bañarse!
- Allergens
- None. No additives, unfiltered, handmade and hand-labeled.
- Fun fact
- You could live without them. But why should you?
